FOPOTOCOTOFOIOIOTOIOIOT L CREED ‘ KISSIMMEE TO HAVE ALL DAY CURRENT than the former, and it would really hurt him more than it would hurt me. Kissimmee, Florida, Nov. 18.— At a meeting of the electric light committee on Thursday night it was decided to turn on an all-day cur- rent December 1st, and those who intend using electricity to operate their machinery are to at once begin making preparations for its iustallation. The many improvements made at | the electric light plant during the past summer and fall has caused that arm of the city government to run considerably behind in expeuses over receipts and our people should give the committee every encouragement to again put this municipal enter- prise on a paying basis. There is no question but what an electric mo- tor is preferable to a gasoline engine in the operation of machinery, as it is much cheaper and also reduces in- surance rates. To operate the machinery for an all-day current will cost about $150 per month, and from a canvass of the city it has been ascertained that it will be used by our people to the extent of about $225 per month.
