Precison dancers from the Pin- der School of Dance were the intro- duction to an advance showing of bathing suits from Rubin Appel’s, The suits shown were manufactur- er’s samples and will not be seen on the until next spring and summer. : Models showing the beautiful one and two piece suits were JoAnn At- well, Margaret Rabon, Lynn Sei- lers, Gate Varela, Vita Barrosa, Carol Lane, Yvonne Moore and Donna Williams. Scene Two presented 1920 sport ‘togs as contrasted to those worn in the “Atomic 50’s.” Mr. and Mrs. Chester Knowles appeared in the piiture frame. Mrs. Knowles was attired in middy blouse and bloomers and her hus- band wore a turtle neck sweater and flannels. The Arthur Murray dance team Marvae Cabaniss and Jim Nudera, costumed in keeping with the flap- pe presented a fast “‘Charles- Models in beautiful sport togs in- eluding walking shorts, sport dress- es and suits for all occasions were sponsored by Kotton King. Elsie Faraldo, Darlene Jurcynski, Lona Allen, Archer, Betty Solo- mon, Carol Lane, Edna Toppino and Rosemary Harff were the mo- dels for this scene. This doll is a sorority project and will be award- ed to a lucky winner on December 23. To the music of “I Wish That I Could Shimmy Like My Sister Kate,” Ann Barber appeared.in a black and white fringed gown. Ger- ald Pinder and Lorraine Butler from the Pinder School of Dance entertained with a beautiful ver- sion of an old fashioned waltz. The group of models sponsored by the MarEd Shop appeared gown- ed in the glamorous cocktail and evening dresses. They included gowns in the latest colors and styles in nylons, satin, and dressy fabrics and were modeled by Marge Alen, Edna Jean Landrum, Bettye Top- pino, Dolice Curry, Betty Roberts, ViAnn Youmans and Polly Car- bonell. The show was brought to a close with the quartette singing “‘Straw~| berry Blonde” followed by an in- tricate pattern of the Mambo per- formed in an outstanding manner by Gerald Pinder and Lorraine Butler. One of the highlights of the eve. ning was ‘Hey There” sung by Larry Cederberg. The fashion show: was comment- ed by Mrs, C. B. Harvey, Jewelry and accessories were by Ramona’s. Hair does were styled by Margo, Donald's, Bobbie’s and Martin.
