The action was taken during the regular Tuesday night meeting held in the La Concha hotel din- ing room. The move was made as a civic gesture to promote the education of some Key Wester who was formal- ly a member of the Kiwanis spon- sored Key Club, a civic club for high school students, The guest speaker for the even- ing was the Rev. Harold Link, pas- tor of the First Baptist church on Eaton Street. He spoke on the sub- ject of blessings. He gave specific mention to the blessing of peace, the blessing of love, the blessing of purity and the blessing of hope. John Armfield, program chair- man, introduced Link.
