The game closed out the regular season for Key West and left them with a record of eight victories and six de- feats. And the loss marked their third in Gold Coast competition, this year. It was Miami Beach’s first win in ‘eonference play this season and avenged an earlier de- feat at the hands of Key = = West. % orwed as: x * en ghoot ome ve Meanwhile, the Conchs will re- me drill sessions this afternoon preparation for the Class AA district tourney at Miami’s Jack- eon High School Feb. 24-27. While! Key West will not get favored seed- ing, they will definitely be herald- darkhorse threat in the fight for the championship. It will mark Key West’s first year in Class AA competition.
