Sponsors Christmas Party For Children The Knights of Columbus Coun- cil 2652 held their first annual Children’s Christmas Party for) their members at the NCCS Hall last Sunday Afternoon. Approximately seventy - five youngsters were on hand, along with their parents, for the affair. Games for various age groups were played and prizes awarded to! the winners. Santa Claus arrived via a fire engine from the City Fire Headquarters, thrilling the} youngsters as he drove up. Each; child was greeted by Santa and, given a gift and stocking full of candy, fruit and nuts. The Committee for the affair in- eluded Dan Yike, chairman; Jim Hull, Thurmand Sands, Larry Eis- ner, Dan Yaccarino, John O’Brien, Tom Purcell, Gene Martinez, Bill Dyson. Harris School Has Annual Xmas Program The annual Christmas program of Harris School was presented on December 18 in the school audi- torium by Miss Miriam Crawford) and the school’s chorus.
