Conch Seniors’ Defeat Undergraduates In Rip-Roaring, 19-7 Ball Game Big Crowd Sees Pineda, Cruz Shine At Stadium An inspired group of Key West High School seniors served notice last night that! they will be sorely missed come next season when they pounded out a 19-7 decision| over the undergraduate members of the squad at the Wickers Field Stadium. More than a thousand fans witnessed the clash which proved one thing — the Conchs have some good ma- terial to build around for next year, But the Key West football fortunes certainly won't look as bright next September with the loss of Joe Pineda; Ralph White, and Don Cruz.| That trio teamed up last! hight in a display of aerial might that had the fans wish- ing it could have happened) against South Broward, Pin- eda was throwing them all over the field and he was hitting his receivers. Near the end of the half, Pineda completed another toss to Cruz from the 45 yard line down to the Undergraduate 12.
