Nugent, 52, was first booked on a drunk-driving charge. Released on $250 bail, he reap- peared at‘the West Los Angeles station later, saying he wanted to bail out his “pals,” the trusties, police reported. Officers advised him to return to his home. On his way out, they said, ha paused on the station steps to. take a drink from a bottle of liquor. He was booked then on a charge of drinking: in public view, and re- leased again on a $20 bond.
