Mario is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mario Davila, Sr. Robert Pollock Honors Genung With Dinner Party Robert Pollock, local jeweler, gave a dinner party for his staff and a few friends at the Sun and Sand Cluh Sunday night. The host served champagne to the 20 guests previous to the dinner. Guest of honor was Jack Genung, assistant to Pollock, Flashlight pictures were taken by the host and his son Richard, who amused everyone with athletic efforts in getting ‘angle shots from nearby poles. The dinner table was decorated | with Christmas candles and vivid | poinsettia. The menu began with {shrimp cocktail and was followed }by chicken soup, steak, creamed jporemeer. salad, ice cream and ‘coffee. Sparkling burgundy wine was served with the steak. The | aperitif was iced creme de menthe. Genung was presented with aj spotlight for his car. He plans a trip to California during his six ‘months’ leave of absence. Mid-Holiday Festivities Held At Home Of Judge And Mrs. Lord A large and festive crowd thronged the Casa Marina Court residence of County Judge and Mrs. Raymond Lord Saturday night | monthly stipport from the $163,000 to attend the mid-holiday party given by the Lords. Receiving the arriving guests were Judge and Mrs. Lord and their daughter Joan. A separate table in the corner of the dining room offered a delicious Christmas cake. Out-of-town guests of the Lord’s included Mrs. Lord’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Howard of Washington, D. C., and Dr. and Mrs, W. H. Sanborn of Miami. i People prominent in Key West social circles made up the large group of guests who enjoyed the party.
