Crawford Feted With Party At Fort Taylor Conviyial gathering of top Navy, Officials and their wives highlight- ed this summer season when @ party in honor of Rear Admiarl George C. crawford, U. S. N., commander of Submarine Force U. S. Atlantic Fleet, was given at Fort Taylor Monday evening, June 30. Hosts for the event were the staff officers of SubRon Four headed by its commanding officer, Capt. J. W. Davis who was in the reception line with Admiral Crawford and Capt. W. P. schoeni, commander of the newly formed Subron 12 and Mrs, Schoeni. The group assembled in the patio at Fort Taylor which was lighted with strings of colored bulbs just before dusk. The courteous club staff served Key West shrimp with Coming Events THURSDAY, JULY 3 Street Fair, opens at Clinton: Place 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to-dusk. Key West Artists group: oils, water colors, etc. on exhibit. Club luncheon at 12:15 p.m. St. Paul’s parish hall.
