It is understandable |when a lawyer twists facts but it is above my understanding when a reporter does so. There seems to be so many statements in your article that I disagree with that I think I'll take them as they appeared in your write up. 1. First, the Lucky Strike may throw a small wake normally, but by Mr. Niles own admission to Mr. MeKillip, he crossed the South side of the race course doing eight knots. This no doubt was in order to clear the path of the on coming boats which were heading perpin- dicular to the course taken by the Lucky Strike. This gunning of the motors was not only noticed by many spectators on the boulevard, but many on the end of the fill had to jump back to avoid being wet as the result of this wake. 2. As to boatmanship, maybe you should try maneuvering a splinter doing fifty miles per hour. 3. You say that the members seem irritated when a boat crosses the course. Wouldn't you if it could mean the life of yours or that of a USN. The wi ig will take place mony. in Key West, attended Key West Couple Observe Their 40th Anniversary A 40th wedding anniversary will be celebrated here by Mr. and Mrs. Louis Muniz of 1730 United street, Sunday, June 22.
