Land Rises 38 Million In 10 Years, C Gandolfo Assessor’s Office Busily Engaged Platting County In 1941, taxable property in Mon- roe County was assessed at ap- proximately 2% million dollars. This year, 1952, the assessed val- uation will run over forty million dollars! Claude Gondolfo, Monroe County ‘Tax Assessor, has also given some ‘more amazing figures that show the phenomenal growth of Key West and the Florida Keys. , For instance, in 1941, the perso- nal tax roll amounted to about $200,000.
