Burt, president of the Southeast Deanery, stated today that this year’s Rally had been de- dicated “to a day of prayer for peace.” Burt further remarked it was the hope of the Holy Name Cociety that the days program will set a precedent for peoples of all creeds and religious to stage similar affairs because without the concentrated prayers to God of all peace loving people the world may never secure tranquility. The Committee of Arrangements, headed by Richard W. Denmore, general chairman, have outlined a full days program beginning with Mass and Corporate Communion at 9:00 a.m. at the host parish. The remainder of the program will be the most extensive and ela- borate ever planned for this an- nual event. Folowing Mass will be a banquet breakfast. Speakers at this affair will be, Father Charles L. Elslander, Spiritual Director of the Diocesan Union; Father Pat- rick J. Trainor, Spiritual Director of the Southeast Deanery; Father Francis J. The devotional, “‘To Me, To Live Is Christ” was given by Mrs. Ro- bert Byron Russell.
