Refugee e Kills Three Triple Slaying Took Place On Farm Of Fox’s Father LEESBURG, Va. # — A 39-year- old man who fled a mental hospital two weeks ago went on a homi- cidal spree Tuesday night, killing his father, an airline pilot and an attractive blonde, police reported today. Sheriff Roger F. Powell of Lou- don County identified the assailant as Maurice Ray Fox. He said Fox was arrested shortly after midnight and charged with murder. Powell said Fox was found in a drunken stupor asleep in a bed at his brother’s home, a 12-gauge shotgun beside him. The triple slaying took place on the farm of Fox’ father, 70-year- old William Fitzhugh Fox, in a lonely area near Leesburg about 35 miles from Washington, D. Powell listed these victims: The elder Fox, Arcola, Va. Capt. Robert O'Connor, pilot for Capital Airlines, Falls Church, Va. Lillian L. Hove, 34, Alexandria, Va., manager of a cosmetics agency. ‘The assailant’s mother fled to the home of a neighbor shortly after the younger Fox was seen |near his home late Tuesday night.
