Key West Policeman Serge Her- mandez met the girls at the park and gave them instruction on safe riding on the Blvd. He also held up traffic so that the girls could walk their bicycles across the road. Mrs. Frances Hames met us at the Sanctuary where she was our guide for the rest of the day. The Sanctuary was originally started as a Botanical Garden and even now there are a lot of beau- tiful and rare plants there.
