Last year a grateful letter from intendant of the school, praised the BPW clubs of the State for clothing, costume jewelry, lips sticks, handkerchiefs and other items which cheered the girls who ‘ad to spend the holidays away from home. z In an appeal to repeat the pack aging this year, it was pointed out that the girls are at the institution because homes, public schools and the communities failed to deal with their programs. The Industrial sch aol has a full educational and re creational program from the first grade through the 11th applied in aiding the girls who are delinquent but definitely not criminals. 75 of the girls are furnished uniforms by the State and have an all around training schedule to prepare them for a place in society when they ‘eave the school. Programs are put on by civie | groups near the school for the girls and they have end-vi-school graua- tion exercises.
