West Fire Chief, Leroy s, and his firemen have vol- red their services again this year for the mending of toys and local citizens are urged to take toys to the Fire Station at the City Hall across from the Citizen Artman Building. As an annual charity project, the firemen: will devote many hours to the neces- sary repair and painting of these toys as a community service. A sorority member suggested that, as a parent, she would like to see other parents impress upon their children that there are many. other youngsters in the world to- day who will be without nourish- ment to their little bodies not on- ly at Christmas but every day— children, who, if Santa’ provided: them with only a dinner, would consider Santa as having made possible a very merry Christmas for them.
