Carl Samme tinger. He pointed out a new sys- tem for flower donations for the altar, in the way of a “Flower Calendar.” Nineteen members attended the business meeting which followed. “Secret Pals” for the year were exchanged, It was decided to send gifts for the “Secret Pal’s” birth- day, and exchange cards for their anniversary. It was decided that the Ladies Aid would help in the payment of flags for the church. ‘A Lutheran flag, and an American flag will be placed in the church in the near future. It was also decided that the Aid’ will take care of Christ- mas decorations for the church, and gifts for the Sunday School children. Mrs. Larry Eschen, reported that the Christmas sale and ba- zaar, held recently, was a huge success, and thanked the mem- bers for their cooperation. The Christmas meeting will be held on December 13. At that time there will be a gift exchange, so each member attending this meet- ing is asked to bring one, not to exceed $1. Hostesses for that meet- ing will be Mrs. Larry Eschen and Mrs. Joseph Jurezynski. There will also be an election of officers at that time. As this was Mrs. Larry Eschen’s last business meeting, she thanked the members for their cooperation during the past year. Mrs. Eschen pointed out that the chief aim of the Ladies Aid is to aid in the growth of our church and that we should always work together to-| ward this.
