City Commissioner Harvey’s tatement that the city has “taken actien at last” projects this question, Why has not the city taken action before? All Key Westers have in view the time when the Gar- rison Bight will be so improved that its use will be exten- sive by owners of cabin cruisers and smaller yachts that eome to Key West. How would those owners feel if, when they Came to town, they learned that the Bight, actually a public domain, would be owned by private interests that would exact a fee from every owner who berthed his boat turn the peepe once a member haleyon days ty work around bu Highway Patrol the sy aa of CPO club with Combo come § A most astounding part of the city’s inactivity, as in- y Commissioner Harvey’s “at last”, remained supine while private interests blocked off the : of streets leading into the’ water. s right when he declared; “The property belongs to the | mixers city already.
