Hard Fighting Rotary Club Whips The Elks, 4-3; Lions Beat Kiwanis Game Protested Against Lions A hard fighting Rotary club went past the up and coming Elks squad last night by a one} run margin in beating them 4-3.! Versatile Richard Watson went the distance in the first game of the official Little League double head- er at Bayview Park..The second game was a ruff and tumble af- fair between the Kiwanis and Lions, which finally ended up in @ protest game against the hard hitting Lions. Dev. surged back for a second game victory and eriough pitis‘ex- tra to offset a Gilmore third game victory. Remley led the Gilmora gang for the second week in a row, with a 199-504. Close behind was Humphrey with 170-493. Yours truly spilled 223-523 for Op. Dev. Sta. PCS1380 kept up with — the front running boys, by taking three points from the Civilians. Tiller set the pace with 161-473, followed closely by Stewart 179- 464, and Sharpe 177-463. Best for the Civilians were Willard 186- 452 and Goodall 199-452.
