HOBO DANCE By Carol Dalton Last Fri ay night the Student Council sponsored a hobo dance which was held in the patio. Music was furnished by the City Dump erenaders, otherwise known as the Coral Isle Sere- naders. Sandwiches were free but cokes had to be bartered for. Costumes were very original some of the best were those of Jay Higgs, Terry Parish, Eddie Hampton, Eugene Roberts, David] Stephen, Leonard Ostiz, and Ed- win.Felton. Straw hats, torn shirts and corn cob pipes were much in evidence. *Rain caused the band to take shelter but the brave hobos weathered the California dew. John Griffin and Kenneth Bazo} sang for the group “On Top of| Qld. Smoky.” “I Wonder Why,” and “Shot Gun Boogie,” and other selections all suited to the oc- casion, Eyeryone had fun in the Hobo Way. JUNIOR CLASS TO PRESENT VARIETY SHOW By-Edyth Hampton and Glendora Sawyer *The Key West High Junior Class will present a variety show entitled “Old ‘n’ New Talent Re- vue” at the school auditorium May 3 and 4, at 8 o'clock. The show will consist of 25 enjoyable acts with the juniors as the ac- tors. *The main show will be Betty Perry Como of Key West High. Truly the grace of the boys’ bal- let with their dainty costum will make you call for encores. Billy Osterhoudt is master of} eéremonies and is equipped with the jokes of the season. Vocalist are Eugene Roberts Edyth Hampton, Hoke Holcomb, Bill Neblett, Glendora Sawyer, Margaret Little, Doris.
