No. 12 100 Rescue - Workers Are Trying To Reach Men MAMANOY CITY, Pa., Jan. 14. —(P)i.—Rescue workers trying to reach two. brothers trapped in a mine cave-in report that they have heard a second dynamite blast far below the surface of the earth. The first blast was heard shortly before noon, "EST, and the second was less than one hour Jater. Said one rescue worker: “There's no doubt about it. Somebody's trying to blast his way out.” The miners are trapped one hundred feet below the earth's! surface. The rescue workers are digging as fast as possible in “an effort to rea the men. They are brothers, Joseph and Edward Burda. The trapped yesterday by a cave-in at the old Boston* Colliery on Broad Mountain.
