The Committee recently asked the Civil] Aeronautics Board to lend expert- personnel to help in these studies and to make a report of the existing pay- subsidy formula and its application since 1945. The CAB; through its chairman, re- ported that since Congress cut the bud- get estimates for the Board, it has no personnel available for such, an assign- ment.
