A coast Guard cutter is now on its way to render assis- tance. Wednesday night crewmen from the-ship rowed. 30 miles to Port Everglades to report the breakdown of the- engines and ask for help. Meanwhile, the ship continued to drift eastwardly in the Gulf Stream. At Port Everglades, the crew- men said that engine trouble de- veloped when the ship was cross- ing in the Gulf Stream off Som- brero. The engines ‘were fixed temporarily, and when they broke down for the second time, the crewmen said, they could not be repaired. Otherwise, the crewmen stated, the ship is in good condition.
