The organization is faced with either expanding to where it can represent Key West adequately or merely handling routine mat- ters. With proper promotion, the island can be one of the most important cities in Florida. In . a ion to necessary funds wth which to work, it will also require effort and planning of businessmen in the community to help achieve what we desire. It will require those who will give in addition to money, time toward planning a greater Key West. The work of promoting and de- veloping the city is not a matter for the Board or office staff of the Chamber of Commerce alone. It is the duty of every citizen of the community . . . because every citizen benefits from the accom- plishments of the Chamber of Commerce. Good things are the result of group action.
