Jose A. Martinez, who was born and raised here in Key West, is giving his first art show beginning on March 16th, Wednesday, ‘ and lasting through March 26rd. Jose Martinez has had no for- mal training of any kind in art, but his favorite medium is oil, although he has done a little work in pastels and watercolors. While stationed In Sitka, Alas- ka, during World War I, he had @ little time on his hands and did some murals in camp and also at the USO headquarters of that town. Gala St. Pa To Be Held At USO On Thursday night at 9 p. m. the USO will hold its outstand- eaeee * danee of the month in the MCA Patio which will be dec- orated with the traditional St. Patrick’s decorations of green streamers and shamrocks.
