The gifts range from food parcels, linen and luggage to jewels, equisitely wrought silver and home furnishings, and in- cludé commemorative endowment projects, which the princess, her fiance, Philip Mountbatten, and family naturally approve. Royal etiquette dictates the refusal of certain gifts, particu- larly ones from persons who are not members of the family circle, nor close iriends, nor those with recognized official status. El- lingson, left yesterday for his home in Corpus Christi, Texz after a six-day stay with his parents at their residence on Ellingson made the trip back the U. S. Infantry in the Philip- pines during the war, reaching the rank of Major after starting as a private in January, 1941. The younger Ellingson is con- nected with an ice company in the Texas city. P'm Going A-Milking, Said The Little Truck DUBLIN, Ark.—(AP).—A farm truck is doing the milking for Roland Faulkner, partially dis- abled World War II veteran, ‘near here. Faulkner has 13 cows and a milking machine but no electric service is available to operate his machine. He overcame this difficulty by: Tapping a half-inch hole in the truck’s intake manifold, at- taching a vacuum tube, connect- ing it with the milker and the milker to the cows, then step- ping on the starter.
