The mother-of-the-year is the wife of Frederick G. Murray, Cedar Rapids physician whom she married in 1902. Their com- fortable, rambling home here was built 42 years ago, with frequent additions to accommodate a grow- ing family. . Mrs. Murray has spent a life- time fighting for improvements in the field of education, for child welfare, for social and economic gains for the American people. Back in 1915-16, she campaigned for equal suffrage, and in the years since has written hundreds of articles on the subjects closest to her heart. She says: “It's no longer enough to feed, clothe and educate a child. Moth- ers today must teach their chil- dren the ideals of service to the world.” Parking Tickets Hit Congregations BALTIMORE.
