PAGE EIGHT Funds Expended, Raised By County Officers Reported Funds raised and expended by various county officials were re- ported Tuesday at the meeting of the County Commission. Following are sums reported, the first figure being the amount of money collected by the coun- ty official, the second: figure the expenses to be paid and the third figure the amount of mon- ey he earned for himself: Peace Justice Ira Albury, $404.79, $32.34 and $372.45. County Attorney Paul Sawyer reported to the: board that she had a good cas ainst the coun- ty if the matter came up for suit The county attorney was vot- ed an increase from $150 to’ $200 a month salary. Tax Collector Claude $12,669.75, $6,669.75, former Monroe County Gets $10,713.17 For Teachers (Special to The Cittzeny TALLAHASSEE. — (ENS) — The sixth installment of 10 pay- ments from the State Teachers Salary Fund to the counties will be made today. According to figures released yesterday by Superintendent of Public Instruction Colin English, total payment to the 67 coun- ties this month is $1,782,912.89 Monroe county will receive $10,814.66, of which $10,713.17 is for instructional salaries and $101.49 for transportation. LOST PURSE FOUND, $13,250 IS MISSING ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Leaving for a vacation in Florida, Mr. and Mrs. George Morley, of Ridgefield, Park, N. J., took the money’ they received when they sold their house, converted it into cash and Mrs. Morley put the $13,250 into her purse. Inadvert- ently, she left her purse in a lo- cal cafeteria and, upon missing it, returned to find it gone. It was later found in a garbage can in the rear of the restaurant, lead- ing to the belief that an employe of the cafeteria had found the money. The purse was empty of its $13,250.
