Airline Head Predicts Daily | -Havana Flights In 3 Weeks Daily air passenger service be- tween Key West and Havana within the next three weeks was predicted this afternoon by Col.! Manuel Quevedo, Jr., of Havana, president of Aerovias Q airlines. Col. Quevedo visited The Citi- zen office shortly after arriving here by plane enroute home from Washington, D. C., where he at- teded the final hearing of the Civil Aeronautics Board last week on the application of Aerovias Q for Havana-Key West’ daily flights. ..He, .was , accommpanied by! his counsel and B. M. Duncan of! Overseas Highway, who was! a Witness at the heari ing. it is my impression,” Col. Quevedo said, “that we will have daily service within the next three weeks. We are ready to! give Key West all the airplanes! you need daily.” He added that C.A.B. appeared well-satisfied with the brief filed by the Ha- vana line. The Aerovias executive was ac- companied by Rogelio Gomez, local representative of the firm, who will manage the installations! of the Key West terminal.
