PAGE EOUR High School Impressive In Drubbing Alumni, 41 to 26 TURNS ON POWER AFT-¥ 1 ER TRAILING AT HALF; TIME; PARRA’S 16| POINTS SET PACE Key West High opened its home season in basketball last night by, cleanly outclassing a strong alum- | ni five, 41 to 26, at the school gymnasium. Trailing by two points at half-time the Conchs turned on the power in the third| quarter and romped to an easy! victory. ‘The Alumni had some of the besf men in the City Class Aj League but they weren’t good enough to stop the high school. The grads’ lineup included Ray; Sechoneck of Coca-Cola, George Barber of Key West Transit, Charlie Smith of Radio, three of the highest scoring men in the city league. Lanky Albert Parra led the Conchs with 16 points showing an almost unerring eye from the free-shot line and some sterling play under the basket.
