Ellingson an- nounced that he discharged Pa- trolman Eugene Sanchez for in- subordination -on srecommenda- tion of Chief Bienvenido Perez. Today, The Citizen was informed that the city manager did not have this power and further that \ it, was on this technicality that férmer City Manager Dave King résigned.
