F. of L. strike was due to a proposal | made by John R. Steelman of the | War Stabilization Board, regard- ing the consent of the govern- ment to permit the increases on government-owned ships. The rally will get under way promptly at 8:00 p. m., with the Rev. Don Weist, pastor of the Matacumbe Methodist Church, as the speaker of the evening. Rev. Weist, a veteran of World War Il, has had considerable exper- ience in working with young people and has a vital message for the youth of Key West. A special feature of this service will be music furnished by the Youth Choir of the upper Florida Keys, under the direction of Reverend Weist.
