The Key fish was caught by Mrs, H. L. Breitback of Dubuque, Iowa, and measur- ed 82 inches long with a weight of 34 pounds. Charter boatmen comment- ed on the difference of weight in the two fish, with two inches more in one fish mak- ing a difference of 18 pounds. But this is not the whole story, since it depends on how much the sailfish has been getting to eat and on its individual “build”, just as in humans. These sailfish brought to six the number brought in this year in a slow sailfish- ing season.
