The truth is. that the only money the pilots receive from the government is an allowance to pay for their uniforms, and they still collect fees for the pilotage duties, which are now far more exacting than during any other time in the history of the association, JOE WOLKOWSKY ARRIVES IN CITY Included in the recent arrivals in Key West from Miami was Joe Wolkowsky, who is here on a business trip in the interest of his holdings and. who is also combining pleasure with his present mission to the city. Mr. Wolkowsky, although having been away from Key West for a number of years, dur- ing. which time he has been re- siding in Miami, states that he has a great inclination toward resuming his residence here, and may yet decide. to remain perm- anently in the event that he can see his way clear for establishing some business enterprise to his liking. Mr. Wolkowsky declares that despite the great length of time that he has been absent from the Island City that the “bright lights” cf Duval street have the will be »’ in Key West ‘the’ lat- 2 of next week.'They will ome to ‘their “friends: in Apartment 1 at 128 Ann street. wall ter TO WED ON SATURDAY sleeves pointed at the wrists and scalloped neckline, with finger tip veil of bridal illusion from a coronet of seed pearls, carrying a shower bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.
