The question of the city making a final decision on taking over complete operation of the scaven- ger system, with the purchasing of new trucks, was deferred until Monday night, due to the fact that at the meeting last night there was only four votes, with Councilman J. Glenwood Sweet- ing being absent, which also left Acting Mayor Freeman without a vote, Councilmen Paul G. Albury, John Carbonell, Jr., and Leonard! B. Grillon, were also in attend- ance.
