It served as a dual celebration being Mrs. Flora Lester’s 80th birthday and one of Key West Court's original mem- bers. A very intrigueing incident was the presentation in a grandiosa manner cf a “Night Blooming Cereus” to Mrs. Mary DeBarcee amid applause and laughter.
