Miss Reeves drtistry has taken cirative form in her fabrics with | original abstract symbols and pic- |torial devices, reminescent of | every day life or adapting ancient | folk patterns. | Carnegie Institute sent Miss Reeves to Guatemala to study the | primitive motives and native In- |dian weavings. Many of her de- | signs are inspired by these. Among | other productions, have been made |hand printed textiles, the “Ame- |ri¢an Home” and “Hudson River” | series, She is a pupil of Kenneth | Hayes Miller.in New York and F. |Le’gar in Paris., Examples of her work are in the Cleveland Museum \of Art and Radio City Music hall.
