They represent the energy and push so essential to the commercial prosperity of Key West and in dealing with them no mistake will be made. Grooms Ably Heals | | The Key West Electric Company; Est. Since 1898 An enterprise which has re- corded more than 43 years of su- perior endeavor in the progress of Key West's commercial pursuits The Key West Electric Company, at the corner of Duval and Greene Streets, occupies leadership prom- inence in its field of endeavor. A subsidiary of the Engineers Pub- lic Service Company of New York, the firm established head- quarters here in 1898. in charge since 1918 and presi- dent of this popular firm for the past eight years, Bascom L. Grooms has served faithfully and competently, gaining public praise for his friendly handling of the responsibilities in the direct in- terest of customer satisfaction. He has been affiliated with the com- pany since 1908. There are thirty- one employed on the daily staff. Full line of appliances is fea- tured, including ranges, refrigera- tors, hot-water heaters and vari- ous other conveniences? There is a superiority about the entire pro- gram of service that has proven the effectiveness of the establish- ment as a constructive force in Key West’s commercial activi- ties. Mr. Grooms takes a sincere in- terest in civie affairs. He is past president of the Chamber of Commerce, and a present mem- ber of its board, and also past president and a member of the Rotary Club. Such men are a credit to any community. Adams’ Dairy Products Demand Increases In Key West; Est. 20 Yrs. An important factor contribut- ing to the health of all communi- ties is the quality of milk and other dairy products. Key West is fortunate in possessing one of the finest enterprises of its type in this part of the county. Adams’ Dairy, on Seidenberg Avenue and at 923 White Street, which han- dies only tuberculin tested milk and is noted for maintaining a high standard in all its products. The firm was established about twenty years ago by J. R. Adams. who is the proprietor. Adams’ milk contains an un- usually large proportion of cream and their cream is of the highest as both for table use and for whipping. The milk is taken from, their own tested herds and is processed with the latest type of equipment. Seven people are employed on the staff and four trucks make prompt deliveries throughout the area. At the new and modernly equip- ped dairy lunch store at 932 White Street, a complete line of dairy products are sold reasonably. Mr. Adams, who is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Cub in Key West, is ac- counted a successful business- man. Since 1925 People are more _ particular about bakery products these days than any other item on their tables, It has been this demand for first-class goods that has been responsible for the rapid expan- sion of the Busy Bee Bakery -of 900 Francis Street, Key West, of which PB.
