The massive boat, longer than an average city block, was plan- ned from stern to bow, inside and out, by dainty Mazie Krebs. It was a man’s job for a girl. { The Adrairal was the second boat of Miss Krebs’ drawing board. The S. S. One day she heard Captain Jo- | seph Streckfus remark that his line was contemplating construc- tion of a new boat of radical de- sign. { Miss Krebs went home and de- signed the President. She asked | permission to submit her sketch- es, and Captain Joe consented, merely to humor her Her plans turned out to be just what he wanted. In 1936, when the Ad- miral first was conceived, Streck- | fus called her in. She planned and supervised the construction of all exterior and interior details. The job took several years, but Miss Krebs said she was happier while working on the boat than at any other time in her career. Because you can SAVE time, effort and money by learning, threagh the advertisements, where te find the “best bays” and the outstanding values. “Hit-or-miss shopping” is as old-fashioned eg! the tandem bicycle.
