Chandler, prominent} Dade county grower and chair-} man of the Florida Citrus Com- mission, as the head of a commit- | tee to make a study of lime con- ditions and to recommend proper regulations. From the recom-{ mendations made, a_ regulatory Jaw will be drawn for submis- sion to the 1941 Legislature. The question of advertising Florida limes will also be consid- ered by the committee. The Cit- rus Commission has offered to in- clude limes in its advertising Program for a small charge per box. Many growers stated that they believed this would be the log- ical solution of the lime adver- tising problem, as the commission maintains 14 groups of display salesmen in the north and adver- tises Florida citrus fruit by means of coast to coast radio programs, billboards, car cards and maga- zine and newspaper display ads. They believe that more publicity could be obtained in this way, dollar for dollar, then through any other medium.
