Over seven hun- dred excellent toys, mainly con- structed by the NYA Department boys, were given to enthusiastic children of the city. As the chil- dren paraded past Santa to re- ceive their toy, they were handed a bag of fruit and a bag of candy. The affair, the second spon- sored by the Lions Club, was pro- nounced a decided hit by the committee in charge. Acknowl- edgement to the WPA Depart- ment and NYA and Scouts of the city, were given.
