PAGE FOUR Dance Saturday To Benefit Red Cross At a meeting of the Woman's Club afternoon, it was decided to| sponsor a dance this Saturday | night, October 14, for the bene- fit of Key West chapter, Red ‘Cross. Through the courtesy of Al- bert Mills, the dance will be Biven at Club Cayo Hueso begin- ning at 10 o'clock All Red Cross chapters have been asked to organize produc- tion committees and to start work as soon as possible. ‘Na- tional headquarters has not yet Started to furnish materials, so each chapter is requested to fur- Junior nish their own supplies for the present. Key West chapter has no funds } with which to buy materials and other necessary supplies, and it is for this purpose that the dance is being given. Besides making garments for war refugees, and soldiers, the production committee will make apparel for our own people who are in need Admission price is quoted in the advertisement on page one today. It is hoped that a good response will assist the making a good response Red Cross call. Beat 1 pint of cream un-! til stiff and add % cupful of su-| gar. Beat the whites of 2 eggs! until stiff and dry and add 1-3 cupful of sugar: Combine the two mixtures ad beat into gela-| tine, pour into cold individual molds and place on ice until ready to serve. Turn out on a slice of pineapple and garnish with; whipped cream. 2 —_—_—_— | | Shrimp and Pineapple ‘ j Cocktail— | 1 cup cooked shrimp (fresh or canned). 2 cups canned pineapple tidbits. Mayonnaise dressing. Lemon juice. If shrimps are large, cut them in halves. Sprinkle with lemon! juice and chill thoroughly. Drain and chill pineapple. Combine shrimps and pineapplé and ‘mix with well-seasoned mayonnaise dressing. Serye in sherbet or cocktail glasses.
