Last night in Yankee Stadium, before a crowd estimated around. 35,000 fans, Arthur Donovan, ref- eree, stopped the title bout in the fourth round after 2:29 of. fight- ling. Louis pounded Tony. with Jefts and rights that sent him to ‘the ropes in his own corner. . |There the Brown Bomber hit him. at will until he sank on his knees, hanging on desperately. terms. Galento took the first round, Louis the second, Galento the third, and then the end. A right and left to Louis’ face sent the champion to the floor in the second stanza, but he got up without a count. Leuis floored Tony in the third as he sent home a left and right to Galento’s head.
