Following certain questions asked by his hearers he explain-| ed the attitude of members of| the state board of administration | and gave an explanation of cer- | tain of Governor Cone’s . vetoes, | which have a direct bearing on, the issues facing Monroe*county. During his talk he was inter- | rupted séveral times by Mr./ Porter, who asked for explana-! tory statements concerning the refunding program now under/ way, points of which are of vital} interest to the county, all of! which were satisfactorily outlin- ed, and the company was assured | that the program, which will be drawn up by Mr. Crummer’s organization, if followed out to the letter, will be of the greatest benefit to the county.
