The Key West Chamber of Commerce has_ been | printing and shipping thousands of book- lets to all parts of the world in response to actual requests for such informative mat- ter. The Chamber, unfortunately, has been limited in this activity, an activity that reacts to the genera] good of the en- tire community, through a shortage of funds. Within the last week two requests for tens of thousands of copies have been | received by the Chamber. | Unable to meet this demand, the Chamber appealed to the Monroe County Commission and Wednesday night that body appropriated $150 for booklets. The Chamber thus is able to order another sup- ply of 20,000 copies of the Key West book- lets. While this is a substantial number, the | supply will soon be gone, for the demand | for such literature is growing every month.
