Young Ralph is resting’ well with the wound not as bad as was first thought, but Mr. and Mrs. Bradley spent a few anxious moments on first viewing the child. The boy had been saving up for some time to get money for the air rifle and was enthusiastically enjoying it when he tried to pull a “stunt”, such as firing at a loaded shell which had been placed on a stump. The boy lost a considerable amount of blood from the wound. Mr. Bradley has the air rifle in his possession today and all Ralph's savings during the past few months will go to naught as Mr. Bradley will not return the rifle to him.
