PAGE FOUR Beesecccoccesesscesesese Society — pa Attend College Hop {Special to The Citizen) TALLAHASSEE, March 22— Approximately 400 persons at- tended the annual Panhellenic hop given at Florida State Col- lege recently by members of the 17 national sororities. Miss Ruth Garcia of Daytona Beach, as president of Panhellenic, was general chairman. Key West students and their guests attending include: Miss Fortuna Lopez and Leo L. Fos- ter, Miss Rose Appel and Buddy Berkowitz. The college gymnasium was decorated in blue and silver for the occasion, and a midnight theme was carried out with a silver moon and stars on a back- ground of blue. Chaperons were college faculty ineluding Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Shankweiler, Dr. and Mrs. W. M. Barrows, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. O. S. Harrison, and Dr. and Mrs. Roy Hinson. Special guests were: President Edward Conradi, Dean Olivia Dorman, Miss Hazel Stevenson, Miss Lucy Lester, Miss Leila Venable, Miss Sadie Young, Miss Edith West, and Miss Katherine Warren. Hamor To Feature Ladies Night Well known, broad Rotary humor will feature the Annual Ladies Night of the Key West Rotary Club to be held tonight at 7:45 at the Casa Marina Both in the program cards and in the program, there are sur- prises in store that are expected to provoke extreme mirth. Satire and subtle jest and innundo will all be employed in the entertain- ment part of the Ladies Night. Present will be over 120 Ro- tarians, Rotary Anns, and their lady friends. The program will be given at the banquet which will be held in the dining room of the Casa Marina. Afterwards there will be danc- ing in the Patio to the Casa Ma- rina orchestra.
