Garcia, outside guardian Mrs. Cora Russell, Mrs. Leona| Collins and Mrs. Lorena Saun-/ ders, installing officer. } Discuss Plans For Flower Show At Meeting Monday) Discussion of plans for the Flower Show which will be held February 25, 26 and 27 was the principal topic at a meeting of the Garden Club and Tree Guild Monday afternoon at the Public Library. The Flower Show will be given again this year in the Number One Building of the Lighthouse/ Department, through the courtesy of W. W. Demeritt, Superin- tendent of Lighthouses. The building is spacious, well kept, and is a splendid location for the Show. This year an attempt will be made to stress those trees which are typical and native to Key West and the Keys. Winter visi- tors each year are impressed with the beauty and uniqueness of! those plants, and it is hoped that! Key West's good fortune in hav- ing these plants profusely vege-j tating will be brought before the} Miss Gladys daughter of Mr. Malcolm James Johnson of Washington, to Mr. Robert Louis Smirnoff, son of Lt. and Mme. Alexander Smirnoff. also of this city, which took place last night at 7 o'clock in St. ‘Thomas Apostle Church, the Rev.| i Robert L. Kessler officiating. Pre- ceding the ceremony Mrs. Mau- Tice Colbert sang, accompanied | by Mrs. Dickenson, organist. The church was decorated with palms and assorted white flowers. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory white satin gown designed on princess lines and an ivory color tulle veil which was held with a coronet of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies. The matron of honor was Mrs. Phillip King. who wore a rose color gown of net and carried a’ bouquet of roses and iris. She wore a net veil gathered at the top of the head and caught with a cluster of forget-me-nots.
