Gekeler, treasurer of the Advisory Council of the State Welfare Board, and Dr. William R. Warren, member of the board, were present at the board of county commissioners meeting) last night in the interests of the/ financial condition of the council, and addressed the meeting. A complete report of the activi- ties of the council and the local|” unit of the board was read in de-| tail by Dr. Gekeler, and a succinct explanation of the disbursements and the svurces ot revenue was given. The record as prepared by him, showed that at the present time it will be necessary to have $300 to liquidate delinquent in- debtedness. In Dr. Warren’s talk. was ex- plained the ph; h’s view of the situation, and he showed that unless*support was given locally, the results to the indigent in Key West will be dire.
