Upon Arrival Today,. | CRIMINAL COURT Visitors Entertained At} Luncheon; Delegation Headed By Len Lewis,) Visiting Miami Rotarians were given a rousing welcome by the Key West Rotary Club when they, tached to the Havana Special at} moon today. As the train rolled into the de- pot, the Key West Hospitality Band greeted the group with the strains of “Hail! Hail! The Gang’s All Here!” ‘The band also paced several other selections. They were taken in cars by! members of the local club to the; Parish Hall where an elaborate! program in their honor was pre-} sented at the luncheon of the Key West Rotary Club. On arrival at the hall, Eddie} Strunk, president of the organiza-} tion, opened the meeting, after! which the gavel was turned over to Len Lewis, who headed the! visiting delegation. Captain Lewis} is a past president of the Key West ! ¢lub, and is now the presiding of. ficer of the Miami club. Curtis Gives Talk J. Gerry Curtis, director of parks and recreation with the FERA, gave a talk covering ac- tivities of the organization which he represents. Eddie Squirs, announcer for KDKA broadcasting station, play- ed several selections on the piano, and gave a number of comis illus- trations. Jimmy Day, past district gover- nor; John Holsworth, Miami Uni- versity professor, and Alex Orr, Past “president of"the Miami Re tary Club, also gave talks during the meeting. Miss Rosita Chanivecky, noted violinist, who has been visiting Key West for a few weeks, ren. dered several selections, accom- panied on the piano by Mrs. Ralph} G.
